The SAMSON™ Surface Feeder, a product from B&W Mechanical Handling, a member of the AUMUND Group, is the ideally suited device to receive, feed or transfer bauxite ore, red mud or cold bath material.
The modern Stormajor™ shiploader represents another B&W product that can be used for loading ships with bauxite ore or aluminium. For the transport of aluminium and the approx. 160°C hot anode mass, AUMUND customers fully trust in the TKF type drag chain conveyor. Besides, potential applications for AUMUND products also include the transport of bauxite, alumina and other bulk materials such as anode paste by means of AUMUND bucket elevators of type BW-G or BW-Z.
