Handling and Cooling of Pellets
For the handling of iron ore pellets, AUMUND conveyors and AUMUND cooling conveyors offer the solution. Normal transport tasks are handled by the proven AUMUND KZB type pan conveyors in horizontal or inclined design. In contrast to vibration or pneumatic transport, this ensures the gentle and damage-free conveying of the high-quality pellets which feature temperatures of up to 800°C.
For the cooling of pellets, the patented AUMUND cooling conveyors are the preferred choice. Depending on the thermodynamic requirements either air or steam is used for the cooling. To enable the good flow of the cooling medium, the conveyors are equipped with specially perforated conveying elements.
