Transport and Cooling of Hot Iron Ore
In the course of the technological process hot materials should often be cooled below 100°C. For this requirement AUMUND offers several cooling conveyors having a major influence on the material quality. The cooling of the material is effected as desired, with air, a mixture of air and steam or water.
AUMUND Cooling Conveyors are applied for the transport of high-quality pellets. The material cooling is effected in the shortest possible time.
The illustrations show an AUMUND Steel Plate Conveyor (Type KZB) with integrated cooling system. The conveyor having a plate width of 1800 mm cools down 500 mt/h of hot pellets over a distance of 48.85 m from 250°C to 100°C. The smooth cooling guarantees a high quality of the pellets.
